RunTools is operated by Caelion. Most conversions run in your browser, but DNS/IP lookups and optional server image conversion contact external services. Advertising and visit analytics are currently disabled.

Operator and contact
- Caelion operates RunTools. Send service errors and privacy questions to anc5557@naver.com. There is no account registration or on-site contact form.
- This notice describes the current features. Check the distinction between browser and server processing in a tool before choosing how to use it.
Processing in your browser
- Most tools, including JSON, Base64 and JWT decoding, calculate locally. The regex tool saves the six most recent patterns and flags in this browser, but does not save the test text.
- Your theme selection is also stored in the browser. Copying and file downloads run when you request them; your device manages clipboard history and downloaded files.
Requests sent to external services
- DNS lookup sends the domain and record type to a Supabase-hosted lookup service, which queries Cloudflare DNS. Opening the IP information tool automatically contacts ipapi.co to look up the IP address used for that connection.
- Image conversion defaults to browser processing. If you select server mode and convert, the image file, filename and output format are sent to a Supabase-hosted conversion service. Use browser mode if you do not want external processing.
- Site visits and external requests may include connection information such as IP address, request path, time and browser details. Cloudflare and external providers may process request information for delivery, security and troubleshooting.
URLs and sharing
- Tool searches, DNS options and timestamp values can appear in URLs, and the JWT tool can read a token parameter from a URL. Values placed in a URL can be included in browser history, shared links and hosting requests.
- Do not put real passwords, access tokens or personal data in URLs, saved regex patterns, public examples or support screenshots. Check the query string and visible content before sharing.
Advertising, cookies and retention
- RunTools currently loads no advertising or visit-analytics scripts and displays no advertising consent banner. Functional storage for language selection, themes and regex history is separate from advertising consent.
- There is no universal one-year expiry for browser storage. Regex history is replaced as new entries fill the six-item limit. Clear this site's browser data to remove stored themes, history or consent records left by an older version.
- Server and external-provider request logs follow the providers' settings and policies. This notice does not promise a specific retention period or immediate removal of external logs.
Email and privacy requests
- If you email us, your sender address, message and attachments are sent through email services to the operator. Include only information needed to investigate the problem, reply or handle your privacy request.
- Tell us the tool URL, language, time of the issue and a reproduction example with personal data removed. Use the same address for questions about access, correction or deletion. We cannot remotely erase values stored only in your browser; use your device's site-data controls.
