Cookies and browser storage
RunTools currently uses no advertising or visit analytics and displays no advertising consent banner. This page explains functional storage for language, theme and regex history and how to manage it.
Notice updated:
Current advertising and consent banner
- Pages currently load no advertising or visit-analytics scripts and do not provide a banner for accepting or rejecting advertising cookies.
- A consent record left by an older version does not enable advertising now. You can remove it by clearing this site's browser data.
Storage used by features
- Switching languages may set a cookie that remembers the selected language. Your browser manages session and cookie persistence.
- Your theme is kept in local storage. The regex tool automatically saves the latest six patterns and flags, but not the test text.
Deletion and retention
- There is no shared one-year automatic expiry for theme or regex history. New regex entries replace older ones beyond six items. Clear this site's browser data to remove the complete history.
- Resetting the regex input is different from deleting saved recent patterns. On a shared device, clear this site's cookies and local storage after use.
- Clearing site data may reset language, theme and recent patterns. Manage downloaded files, clipboard history, browsing history and URLs already shared separately.
External requests are separate from cookies
- Even without advertising, DNS lookup, IP information and optional server image conversion require external requests. Clearing browser cookies does not erase requests already sent or external-service logs.
- See the privacy policy and contact page for the scope of these transfers and how to contact the operator.
Contact the operator
- If this explanation differs from what your browser stores, or you need privacy help, contact the address below. Do not send passwords or real access tokens.
